A gentle demeanor, great sense of humour and a passion for planes almost sums up Benjie's experience in the Studio Arts Program. Although images of planes drawn or painted by Benjie would appear in some of the earlier collaborative work, he chose, for the most part to depict what can be seen frrom the planes (i.e.: balloons) or focus on the feeling of flight while pursuing an abstract composition. Currently Benjie has been exploring new art techniques that allow him to investigate the beuty of the natural world. Benjie works hard art learning and understandung new techniques in painting, drawing and mixed media. He is quite talented at bringing together a composition by carefully selecting his colors and line to create lovely finishing pieces.
